
It’s easy to get to the Core of Discovery no matter where you’re located.
From South St. Louis or West St. Louis, Lambert International Airport, or from Illinois, follow the driving directions provided below. You can also use public transportation to get to the Arch.
By Car:
By Public Transportation:
If you prefer public transportation, the trip to the Gateway Arch is quick and easy. Take the MetroLink, which departs approximately every 10 minutes, to the Gateway Arch Riverfront. Simply board at any MetroLink station and exit at Arch-Laclede’s Landing Station. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs to the Arch. RV and Bus Parking:
If you travel by RV or bus, there’s a complimentary area for you to park, south of the Poplar Street Bridge along Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. Parking is approximately a 1/2 mile from the Core of Discovery activities. Look for bus and RV parking street signs along the side of the paved street.
If you travel to the Gateway Arch with a tour group, your bus will unload on the southwest edge of the Gateway Arch grounds, directly to your right once you take the Gateway Arch exit. This area is exclusively for loading and unloading of passengers. During your guests’ visit, please park your vehicle in the designated area.
From the Bus Load Zone at the Old Cathedral on Memorial Drive, turn left onto Market Street, turn left onto Broadway, turn left onto Chouteau, and turn left onto Leonor K. Sullivan.
